Prayer for Haiti

January 12, 2010. 16:35h local time - an earthquake rated 7.0 in Richter's scale strikes the coastal town of Leyogàn, Haiti, which is only 25km away from the capital - Port-au-Prince. Less than a month later, as a result of the initial quake and all weaker ones which followed more than 220 000 homes and 20 000 commercial buildings are severely damaged or completely destroyed. Almost 170 000 people find lose their lives among the rubble or as a result of the earthquakes. Many people are injured, have lost their families, friends and support. As a result of all this, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere ends up in an even more critical situation. Therefore, let us unite in the coming few months in intercessory prayer for all who are connected with the results of this disaster in one way or another.
